Lufthansa Technik a subsidiary of Lufthansa thereby plays the role of service provider. Since the last 40 years the Lufthansa fleet and the fleet of more than 630 other customers have been serviced by Lufthansa Technik, thus valuable experiences could be made. Aircraft Maintenance

Lufthansa Technik applies aircaft-condition monitoring the condition of the most important aircraft systems can constantly be monitored. Consulting on your aircraft selection and specification can be provided. In addition a customized maintenance schedule tailored to your operations can be developed.
Moreover the manufacturer’s service bulletins can be analyzed and often modified towards a more cost-effective and better suited solution. Lufthansa Technik´s engineers could come up with ways to perform even the most complicated retrofits (ADs and other modifications) more economically during a regularly scheduled downtime. An excellent documentation of all performed maintenance for a total technical support customer is obvious.
Spare Parts Pooling/Logistics
By using the option of Spare Part Pooling you will gain many benefits. First of all you increase the availability of materials, possible utilization rate and dispatch reliability. But secondly you also reduce the costs caused by your own material inventory. Approximately 250.000 spare parts based on Lufthansa’s quality standard can be forwarded swiftly to you during 24 hours during 365 days.
